Laura Limonic, PhD

I am a sociologist who studies immigration in general and Latinx immigration in particular. I conduct qualitative and quantitative research on Latinx immigrants in the United States spanning issues of race, ethnicity and religion. I write about the construction of identity among Latinx Jews in the United States as well as Chabad groups across Latin America.

I have recently started a new project studying motherhood and the effects of the pandemic across racial and ethnic groups.
